What is Purple Spark?

VIOLET ( noun; / vī(ə)lət / ) : the color of light with the highest frequencies visible to the eye
ULTRAVIOLET ( adj. ) : having the capacity to shine beyond the brightest light
In the climate of today's education system, the need to encourage, empower, and expose our youth to new experiences has never been more needed. Every child has a natural interest, a natural gift, a natural SPARK. Whether it is a field trip to the state capital or just a hug and listening ear, it is our responsibility to ignite and foster that spark.
Purple Spark emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the next generation of leaders. We’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of collaboration. Continue reading below to learn more about the Purple Spark Movement.
